“ I recently dined at La Mimosa Ristorante, and it is hard to put into a review how wonderful the experience was. I was traveling with my partner, parents, and in-laws and we came to La Mimosa Ristorante for dinner. The experience at La Mimosa was incredible - the ambiance was very demur and unassuming, but the service and the food were beyond what we expected. The service provided by Matteo Polidoro was so impressive - he explained the menu in English to my parents (from the US and who do not speak Italian) and then discussed the varieties of grapes in the wine from Piemonte with my in-laws (who are Italian and live in Torino). He provided excellent wine and food recommendations, and truly an incredible host at his establishment. While Matteo set a high bar for our dining experience, the food was equally as impressive. In particular, the venison with cherries and popcorn (!) was truly a meal deserving of a Michelin rating. This restaurant is a little off the beaten path, but if you are in the area, this is a really amazing place to eat. My only regret is that I had to get on a plane the next day to return to the US. If I hadn’t, I would have been back to La Mimosa Ristorante the following night for dinner again. Highly recommend!! ”
